Guitar poster

So this is my attempt at making a custom poster, after this I will use the skills I acquired to create my own poster.

Text texture

We were tasked with having a texture of our choice be incorporated in text form.

This what I did.

I first selected the texture from google images, then saved and put into illustrator.
After that i typed something random and made sure the text was above the texture in the layers tab.




I then selected the two objects and pressed CMD7 which merged them together into one without any issues.



After that you should have something like this bellow:
